After working throughout the late 1980s as an actress on various television series, soap operas and mini-series, Blondet achieved worldwide fame as co-host of Univision’s international morning show, “¡Despierta America!,” starting in 1997. Giselle Blondet was born in New York City but was raised and studied in Puerto Rico.
